• Ensures coding aligns with guidelines and regulations for proper reimbursement.
• Queries providers when documentation is insufficient or unclear for coding.
• Reviews records to verify documentation supports ordered services and medical necessity.
• Maintains compliance with coding standards and confidentiality.
