Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a qualified medical coder to join a busy healthcare coding team. The ideal candidate holds an AAPC CPC/CPC-H/COC certificate and has graduated from an approved coding or health information management program.

You will demonstrate proficiency in ICD-9/ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT-4/HCPCS, and HCC/HEDIS CAT II while handling a high volume of cases. Experience with Evaluation Management and CPT code assignment is required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• AAPC certificate in CPC/CPC-H/COC required.
• Graduate of an approved coding or health information management program.
• Proficiency in at least 3 listed areas of coding specialties.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT-4/HCPCS, HCC and HEDIS CAT II.
• Ability to handle high volume of cases.
• Experience in Evaluation Management and CPT code assignment.
• EPIC EHR and 3M 360 coding knowledge encouraged.
