Job summary

Confluence Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our ambulatory care team in Wenatchee, WA. You will support providers and the health care team by performing clerical and patient-related tasks, taking vital signs, and assisting with visits.

No prior experience is required, but you must have an active MA license/credentials and CPR within 90 days. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for this position, with a commitment to one year.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Accredited Medical Assisting program graduate, or enrolled in externship program, OR Medical Assistant Apprentice with CCMA pathway.
• Active MA Interim (IC) or Medical Assistant - Certified (CM) license through WA DOH or Internal Apprentice awaiting licensure.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients promptly and prepares them for exam with the clinical team.
• Records vital signs and documents in the EMR per protocol.
• Obtains medical history and reasons for visit; maintains complete medical records.
• Administers injections and medications as directed by the provider.
• Assists in procedures and minor emergencies.
• Schedules labs and tests and provides patient instruction for sample collection.
