Job summary

Confluence Health in Wenatchee, WA, seeks a Medical Assistant Certified to support providers and care teams with patient flow and clerical tasks. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, administering injections, recording histories, and assisting during visits, with EPIC EMR in use.

Must maintain CPR and active MA-C license; 1-year commitment required. Full-time role offers benefits and a $3,000 sign-on for certified MAs, plus opportunities for growth and cross-coverage across Ambulatory

Qualifications

High school graduate or GED.
Medical Assistant Certification required or externship program completion, or CMA Apprentice awaiting licensure.
Active MA license (CM) through WA state DOH or Intern/Apprentice awaiting licensure.
CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Greets patients promptly and prepares them for exams.
Obtains and records vital signs per department protocols.
Obtains medical history and documents accurately for the EMR.
Administers injections and medications as directed by the provider.
Assists in procedures and minor emergencies within MA-C scope.
Schedules and coordinates labs, x-rays, and tests as directed.
Communicates with patients and relays information to providers; follow-ups as needed.
Maintains clean exam rooms, instruments, and stock.
