Job summary

Confluence Health in Washington state is seeking a Medical Assistant Certified to support providers and the care team across ambulatory clinics. You will perform clerical tasks, take and record vital signs, prep exam rooms, assist with visits, and help manage test results and referrals, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Active MA-C license with CPR and the ability to work across clinics is required; no prior experience necessary for this role, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program or in externship/apprentice path.
• Active MA-C license (WA) or interim CM licensure.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare exam rooms for visits.
• Record vital signs and update EMR per protocols.
• Document patient history accurately for medical records.
• Administer injections and medications as directed.
• Assist with procedures and minor emergencies when needed.
• Schedule labs, imaging, and tests and communicate results to patients.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and stock supplies daily.
• Float to other clinics to ensure staffing and continuity of care.
