Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• National third-party certification such as AMCA, AAMA, AMT, CCMA (NHA) or NCMA (NCCT) within 13 months of hire.
• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent practice experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Prior EMR experience preferred.
• 1 year medical assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and procedures under supervision.
• Facilitate efficient patient flow through the clinic or medical office.
• Communicate test results, schedules, procedures, and follow-up with patients as directed.
• Maintain patient privacy and accurate EMR documentation.
