Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Physician Office – Clermont Ears, Nose & Throat. The CMA collaborates with the primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care within medical assisting scope and state guidelines.

Responsibilities include reviewing health records, measuring vital signs, preparing treatment rooms, greeting patients, and handling clerical duties. Requires CMA certification and High School/GED; BLS at hire; prior office experience is a

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• Active CMA certification (or ABR-OE acceptable where allowed).
• BLS Basic Life Support required at hire for Mercy Health locations; preferred elsewhere.
• 1 year medical assistant experience preferred; 2 years clerical in a physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and community in a respectful manner.
• Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits; verify test results and reports.
• Measure vital signs: pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, height.
• Perform clerical duties: inventory, track referrals, answer phones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems; perform other duties as assigned.
