Responsibilities

• Supports the patient and provider throughout the patient visit.
• Ensures patient and provider are prepared for the visit.
• Answers patient questions prior to leaving and prepares room for next appointment.
• Provides excellent patient service through communication in person and by phone.
• Completes patient registration and documentation as needed.
• Maintains clinical knowledge, skills and credentials through ongoing development.
• Complies with DOT drug and alcohol testing if in occupational health.
• Adapts communication to diverse patient populations.
