Advocare, LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in New Jersey. The CMA will deliver high-quality direct patient care while supporting providers with clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced pediatric and family practice setting.

The role emphasizes proficiency in routine clinical procedures, strong communication, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist during exams and procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and lab preparation.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and complete documentation.
• Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, verifying insurance, scheduling, and processing referrals.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and perform equipment upkeep.
• Prepare and disinfect examination and treatment rooms.
• Provide patient education and transmit physician instructions.
• Support compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
