ADVOCARE, LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in New Jersey. The CMA will provide direct patient care and support clinical staff through a mix of clinical and administrative duties.

Responsibilities include taking histories, preparing patients for exams, performing tests, managing records, and coordinating referrals, while adhering to HIPAA and regulatory guidelines. A compassionate, patient‑centered approach is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patient histories and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection.
• Maintain electronic health records and documentation.
• Handle reception tasks: phone queries, scheduling, referrals.
• Ensure room cleanliness and instrument sterilization.
• Provide patient education and relay physician instructions.
