Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience or completion of an accredited program.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program is acceptable in lieu of work experience.
• BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Record medical histories, medications, vital signs, and prepare patients for procedures.
• Administer injections and medications as directed by physician.
• Perform point-of-care tests and assist with routine examinations.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards in exam rooms.
