Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be eligible to obtain one of CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certifications within six months of employment.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• 0–2 years of relevant healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with medical office software.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians and nurses to facilitate efficient patient flow and exam preparation.
• Prepares exam rooms, assists with procedures (ECG, venipuncture, immunizations), and manages supplies.
• Keeps patient records accurate, documents vital signs, allergies and medications, and communicates changes to the team.
• Maintains clean, safe clinical areas and adheres to safety and confidentiality policies.
• Performs delegated tasks in accordance with scope of practice and clinic guidelines.
