Job summary

Vibrant Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care in a clinic setting. You will perform routine medical procedures, phlebotomy, vital signs, and prepare exam rooms under supervision. The role emphasizes accurate documentation and patient communication.

You will collaborate with physicians and nurses, assist with immunizations and lab processing, and uphold HIPAA and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Certification program with current certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of phlebotomy, vital signs collection, and basic in-clinic procedures.
• Proficient with basic office software (MS Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering competent medical care under RN or provider direction.
• Prepare examination rooms and supplies before/after patient visits.
• Take vital signs and accurately document on patient charts.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen handling per protocol.
• Review and communicate medication names and doses to patients.
• Maintain patient records and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with immunization records and scheduling as needed.
