Job summary

Sunnyside Immediate Care in Sunnyside, WA seeks a Certified Medical Assistant Float to support multiple clinic sites. You will maintain patient records, assist providers, manage room readiness, and educate patients on medications while traveling to surrounding YVFWC sites as needed.

The role requires a CMA certification, WA state credentials, CPR within 90 days, and Spanish-speaking proficiency. Epic EMR experience and a strong customer-care focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program with 720 hours and 160 clinical hours.
• WA CMA certification or interim certification required.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Spanish-speaking skills at level 10 required.
• Bilingual differential compensation eligibility with ALTA score 10.
• Experience with Epic EMR and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update patient records and immunization histories.
• Prepare for visits, review labs and referrals, and coordinate with providers.
• Assist physicians during exams and procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies are stocked and sterile.
• Educate patients on medications and follow-up care.
