Job summary

Kinwell is seeking a Float Certified Medical Assistant to support our clinics in Redmond, Mill Creek, Lynnwood and Bellingham. You will greet patients, prepare them for examinations, take vital signs, review medical history, and assist physicians during procedures.

This role requires CMA certification by hire, WA DOH certification, high school diploma, and the ability to travel between Spokane area clinics. BLS is preferred; EPIC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• CMA certification required by time of hire.
• Active Washington state DOH CMA/ Interim CMA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel between three clinics in Spokane and Spokane Valley to cover shifts.
• BLS preferred; willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise and proficiency in clinical procedures.
• Focus on quality patient care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Proficient in EMR systems and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication; able to gather history and current conditions.
• Independent decision-making and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage across Kinwell clinics in Redmond, Mill Creek, Lynnwood and Bellingham.
• Greet patients and prepare for physical examinations, including vitals and history review.
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Provide patient information and ensure comfort during visits.
• Set up procedures and dispense medications as ordered.
• Maintain clinic and lab areas, inventory, and supplies.
