Job summary

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for Grandview Medical-Dental Clinic in Grandview, WA. This 1.0 FTE role supports busy clinics, uses Epic EMR, and offers a $21.44-$31.58/hour DOE with a $5,000 hiring/retention bonus structure. Bilingual skills earn additional pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a 720-hour CMA training program (CAAHEP/ABHES) with clinical externship.
• One year CMA experience preferred.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• WA State Medical Assistant Certification or Interim Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient medical records and update immunization history.
• Prepare for patient visits, review labs and referrals, and coordinate with providers.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Provide patient education and discharge information.
• Document results in EMR and follow up on tests as directed.
