Sentara Urgent Care Little Neck in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant Coordinator (Team Lead). Clinic hours: Mon-Fri 8:00a.m.–8:00p.m., Sat-Sun 8a.m.–4p.m.

The role leads clinical operations and supports leadership in daily tasks and cross-department initiatives. Requirements include CMA/RMA/CCMA or EMT with BLS within 90 days, plus 2 years patient care, 1 year admin, and 1 year medical office experience.

Qualifications

• CMA/RMA/CCMA or EMT basic certification with BLS within 90 days of hire.
• 2 years patient care experience; 1 year administrative; 1 year medical office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Assistant Practice Manager and Practice Manager to ensure efficient clinical operations.
• Assume daily clinical operations accountability and support employees with solutions.
• Manage multiple projects and special work assignments as needed.
• Support leadership and cross-departmental teams to achieve goals.

Overview:

Sentara Urgent Care Little Neck is now hiring a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant Coordinator (Team Lead) Virginia Beach, VA! Clinic hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00a.m. - 8:00p.m. Saturday and Sunday: 8am-4pm. Scheduled hours and shifts may vary based on business need and candidates' availability.

Clinical Team Lead Responsibilities:

The Clinical Team Lead collaborates with the Assistant Practice Manager and the Practice Manager to ensure the efficient and effective clinical operations of a practice. Assumes responsibility and accountability for daily clinical operations. Supports employees with solutions for everyday operational needs. Manage multiple projects and performs special work assignments as needed. Support Assistant Practice Manager, Practice Manager, Director and other leadership team members as needed. Collaborate with cross-departmental/divisional teams to achieve goals. Takes initiative and implements new processes independently. Acts as a role model for the clinical team and subject matter expert in clinical areas.

Education:

CER - Certificate High School or Equivalent Certification/Licensure Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or EMT Basic Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days from hire

Experience:

Patient Care - 2 years' experience required

Administrative - 1 year experience required

Medical Office - 1 year required
