Hours: 32 hrs/week.
Schedule based on practice needs Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Most shifts will be 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Primarily a clinical MA role, with cross-training and support for front desk duties as needed.
5th Street Station serves as the home office, but the role will float to all designated practices as needed.
Must be willing to float between practices as needed based on staffing demands.
Supports 10 Primary Care practices across the Charlottesville/Waynesboro market.
The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

One year of clinical/administrative experience required.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Certification must be received within (9) nine months of employment in one of the following certification programs: CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant CMA- Certified Medical Assistant RMA- Registered Medical Assistant EMT- Emergency Medical Technician
BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
