Valley Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform direct clinical duties and front-desk support with courtesy and professionalism. The role includes accurate EMR documentation, patient intake, EKGs, blood draws, and coordination with pharmacy calls as directed by the provider and practice manager.

The ideal candidate will have completed a NJ-recognized MA program and hold CMA or RMA certification, plus clinic or outpatient experience and data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Formal Medical Assistant program recognized by New Jersey.
• Certification as Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) recognized by boards such as AMT/AAMA/NCCT.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, EKG, blood draw, and tests as directed by provider.
• Document accurately in EMR per licensure and VMG policies.
• Handle front desk tasks: patient registration, billing, insurance, and visit protocols.
