Valley Health System seeks a Medical Assistant to perform patient intake, blood draws, EKGs, and related tests in a courteous and compliant manner. You will document in the EMR and collaborate closely with medical staff to ensure smooth workflows and quality patient care.

Responsibilities include front desk support, patient registration, billing coordination, and adherence to safe visit protocols under supervision of the Practice Manager/Supervisor. Relevant NJ-certification required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with formal Medical Assistant program recognized by NJ.
• Certification as MA/RMA (AMT/AAMA/NCCT) required.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake and registration with courtesy.
• Perform blood draws, EKG, and tests as directed.
• Document accurately in EMR per VMG policies.
• Support front desk tasks including billing and insurance processing.
