Responsibilities

• Take patients' vital signs and prepare them for the provider's care.
• Document all entries in the medical record, with signature, date and time.
• Administer medication as directed by and under supervision of a licensed physician.
• Observe and report patients' signs or symptoms; collect routine laboratory specimens as directed.
• Provide basic first aid as needed and participate in performance improvement projects.
• Act as an active care team member in coordinating patient care.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, staff, and other customers.
