Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receives and directs messages to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintains patient scheduling and sets appointments.
• Interviews and completes patient registration.
• Keys patient dispositions, codes, orders, charges and payments in EMR.
• Performs cashiering for co-payments and patient payments.
• Performs venipuncture and administers routine medications under supervision.
• Collects routine lab specimens as directed by the provider.
• Performs basic lab procedures and takes vital signs.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients and families.
