Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for an on-site role in Joshua, TX. The position is a one-month contract with potential extension or full-time offer, schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Pay ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience, with benefits and weekly pay as part of Adecco's offerings. The candidate must hold a National Medical Assistant Certification and BLS; phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Phlebotomy experience.

Responsabilités

• Performs all duties within the scope of a Medical Assistant's practice.
• Organizes the clinical environment and provides support in patient care situations to assist physicians, APCs and nurses.
• Perform patient-oriented procedures and medication administration under MA scope of practice.
• Operates diagnostic equipment (cannot interpret tests).
• Changes wound dressing and obtains cultures, administers non-intravenous medication.
• Performs simple specimen collection via noninvasive techniques and collects blood specimens via venipuncture.
• Performs EKGs.
• Performs quality control checks on equipment.
• Rooms patients according to policy and procedures.
• Prepares patient for examination.
• Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinates patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies.
• Respects patient confidentiality at all times and treats patients with courtesy and respect.
• Organizes exam and treatment rooms, stocks and cleans rooms.

Pay: $20 to $24 per hour based on experience

Type: One-month contract, with opportunity for extension or full time offer

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Primary Responsibilities:

• Organizes the clinical environment and provides support in patient care situations to assist physicians, APCs and nurses


• Perform patient-oriented procedures and medication administration under MA scope of practice


• Operates diagnostic equipment (cannot interpret tests)

• Telephone and in-person screening limited to intake and gathering of information without requiring the exercise of judgment based on clinical knowledge

• Phlebotomy experience

Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
