Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a contract role based in Keller, TX. You will support daily clinic operations, room patients, obtain vitals, perform intake and point-of-care testing, document in the EMR, and assist providers during exams.

The ideal candidate holds an active CMA certification, has EMR experience (preferably Athena), and possesses strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills for a fast-paced family medicine setting.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification required.
• Family Medicine or Primary Care experience preferred.
• EMR documentation experience.

Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

3-Month Contract Opportunity with potential for extension based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification

• Insurance verification experience
• CPR certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Keller, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
