Job summary

The Phoenix at Tucker is seeking Med Techs to join their team. The Med Tech provides medication administration support and resident care in our assisted living environment, reporting to Wellness staff.

Candidates must be a certified Medication Aide with at least one year of elder-care experience; weekend/evening availability and leadership abilities are preferred to support wellness and quality of care. Shift: 2pm-10pm, every other weekend, Tucker, GA.

Qualifications

• Must be certified Medication Aide and/or meet state requirements for medication aide.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with elders or disabled individuals, preferred.
• Leadership capabilities demonstrated.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours during peak service days.

Responsibilities

• Identify ongoing resident needs and services through PSP process.
• Ensure follow-through and documentation for changes in clinical care needs.
• Support wellness nurse with monthly wellness visits and PSP updates.
• Inform Wellness Director/Executive Director about changes in medication or service levels.
• Assist with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly prior to wellness visits.
• Assist with resident care as needed.
