Job summary

The Phoenix at Lake Lanier in Gainesville, GA is seeking Med Techs to join our team. The Med Tech provides leadership support and assists with resident care, including medication care and administration under state requirements, ensuring quality assurance.

Candidates must be certified Medication Aide with at least one year of experience with elders, and be willing to work Mon-Fri and every other weekend, including evenings. This role supports wellness programs and family communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Medication Aide per state requirements.
• Minimum 1 year experience with elders or disabled individuals (preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living and Dementia care (preferred).
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Identifies ongoing needs and services of residents through PSP or assessments.
• Ensures proper follow-through and documentation for changes in care needs.
• Supports Wellness Nurse with monthly wellness visits and PSP updates.
• Notifies Wellness/Executive Directors of medication or service level changes.
• Assists with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly.
• Assists with resident care as needed.
