Job summary

The Phoenix at Lake Lanier is seeking Med Techs to join their team, with morning, afternoon, and overnight coverage available. This role supports medication care and resident wellbeing under the Wellness program, including leadership and daily care tasks.

Responsibilities include conducting PSP-based assessments, monitoring vital signs, coordinating with the Wellness Nurse, and communicating changes to the Wellness/Executive Directors to ensure high-quality care and timely updates for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be certified Medication Aide and/or meet state requirements for medication aide.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with elders or disabled individuals, preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge/experience in Assisted Living or Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Identifies ongoing needs/services of residents through PSP process.
• Ensures proper follow through and documentation for changes in clinical care.
• Supports Wellness Nurse with completing monthly wellness visits and PSP updates.
• Informs Wellness Director/Executive Director of changes in medication or service level.
• Assist with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly prior to wellness visit.
• Assist with resident care as needed.
