The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to cut, trim, and manage meat and seafood products to The Fresh Market standards. You will support department inventory, pricing integrity, and merchandising while delivering an impeccable experience to guests and team members in a fast-paced setting.

This role requires precision, efficiency, and a passion for excellence, with responsibilities across product knowledge, cross-department collaboration, and maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in meat cutting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Meat Cutter certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items; assist guests in finding products.
• Cut and trim meat and seafood according to standards; manage quality stock levels.
• Monitor case temperatures, spills, and storage areas to ensure safety.
• Enforce proper receiving, stocking, unloading, and freshness practices.
• Adhere to safety and food safety regulations and company policies.
