Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Munster, IN is seeking a team member to support the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind while following the production schedule to meet advertised meat cuts.

You will write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership in a fast-paced retail setting. This role requires familiarity with meat weights and measures, safety and sanitation compliance, and experience with CAO applications and inventory

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures in meat processing.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience with Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/forklift license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
