Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Meat Associate to support daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and ground products. You will follow the production schedule to ensure claims and freshness of advertised cuts, while maintaining accurate orders and safe handling practices.

Responsibilities include writing fresh meat orders, organizing deliveries, and sustaining a positive relationship with customers and team members. The position emphasizes safety, inventory control, and quality packaging in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
