Job summary

Meijer is seeking a dedicated meat department team member in Kentucky to assist with daily meat cutting and order fulfillment. You will follow the production schedule to ensure fresh meat cuts meet advertised specifications and quality standards.

You will write orders, manage deliveries, and uphold a positive relationship with customers and colleagues while maintaining safety and sanitation practices in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with weights and measures in meat processing.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

This position assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual also follows the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
