Job summary

Fogelman is hiring an Experienced Certified Maintenance Technician for Legends at Chatham Apartments in the Savannah area. The role focuses on completing maintenance service requests, repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances while delivering excellent resident service.

You will join a team‑oriented, safety‑driven environment with on‑call duties and potential weekend work. Competitive benefits, incentive programs and biweekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
• HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient in use of computers and online applications.
• Knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.
• Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests and repairs as assigned.
• Complete make-ready units and prep housing for residents.
• Care for, maintain and inventory supplies and equipment.
• Provide and maintain personal tools; keep work area clean.
• Assist in preventive maintenance projects and safety compliance.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Service Director.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain positive communications with residents, vendors, and coworkers.
• Adhere to safety policies and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Weekend work may be required; other duties as assigned.
