Job summary

Fogelman is seeking an Experienced Certified Maintenance Technician for Stewart's Ferry Apartments in the Nashville area. This on-call role requires availability one weekday and every fifth weekend, handling service requests, repairs, and make-readies with a focus on quality and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and skills in plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of apartment maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification (Type 1/2 or Universal).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests and repairs as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Complete make-ready units and manage care of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain inventory and supply tools; keep work area clean.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Service Director and participate in on-call rotation.
• Maintain positive communications with residents, vendors, and coworkers; adhere to safety policies.
