Job summary

Federal Way Public Schools seeks an Interventionist at Lake Dolloff Elementary to provide supplemental reading and math support for identified at-risk students in collaboration with classroom teachers. Services will be delivered preferably in the classroom or designated intervention area with small-group instruction and targeted progress monitoring.

This certificated position is supervised by the building principal and funded by Title I/LAP program, emphasizing MTSS and data-driven decision

Qualifications

• Currently holds Washington State Teacher’s Certificate with applicable endorsement(s).
• Minimum three years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Demonstrates distinguished teacher evaluation marks.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose reading and math strengths/deficits to guide instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers to target at-risk students and plan interventions.
• Implement MTSS-based interventions and monitor progress.
