Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, including assessments, orthosis fabrication, and individualized recovery plans.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy; current state license and CHT credential are required, with 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and plan a tailored hand/UE rehab program.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions and document OT services.
• Supervise OT assistants, students, and staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit and educate on custom hand orthoses.
• Provide post-surgical and injury rehabilitation, wound and edema care.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and multidisciplinary team.
