Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to lead specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and supervise OT staff. Orthotic fabrication and patient education are key components of this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy
• Current state PT or OT license
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and establish plan of care
• Provide hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services
• Direct and supervise OT Assistants, students and staff
• Design, fabricate, fit and educate on custom orthoses and splints
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation cases
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians; participate in care planning and case discussions
