Norman Regional Health System in the United States is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to lead specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. The role involves patient evaluation, custom splinting, and developing comprehensive recovery plans.

Responsibilities include supervising OT staff and students, orthotic fabrication, and coordinating with hand surgeons and other clinicians to support interdisciplinary care and return-to-work rehabilitation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for hand/upper-extremity conditions.
• Document occupational therapy services delivered.
• Directs and supervises OT Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints; educate on orthosis wear.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions; provide scar management and return-to-work rehab.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists and other professionals; participate in care planning.
