Banner Physical Therapy in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a PRN Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center. The Hand Therapist will treat upper extremity disorders and be skilled in custom splinting, working with the regional hand therapy coordinator to ensure you have what you need for success.

• Collaborate: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
• Maintain high standard of care by staying current with OT research and applying evidence-based practice.
• Provide comprehensive, individualized treatment from evaluation to discharge.
• Build relationships with centers, patients, and staff to expand client relations.

Schedule: PRN, Flexible Schedule!

Compensation: $50.00/Hr.

Banner Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for ouroutpatient orthopedic center! This position will treat various upper extremity disorders ranging from tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and more. We are seeking a hand therapist who is skilled in custom splinting. The Hand Therapist will work with our regional hand therapy coordinator to ensure you have what you need for success.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.


• High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy


• CPR certification


• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic


• Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
