Banner Physical Therapy in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Full-Time Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic center. The role offers a starting salary of $80,000+ with bonus incentives and a student loan repayment program, and a Monday–Friday schedule.

A certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, but we welcome applicants pursuing the exam or with extensive hand therapy experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA-accredited school of occupational therapy
• CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
• Two years of hand therapy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
• Stay current with OT research and apply Evidence Based Practice.
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment from evaluation to discharge.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and expand client relations.

Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, we enthusiastically welcome applicants preparing for the exam or those with extensive hand therapy experience. Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
• High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
• Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
• CPR certification
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
• Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
