Job summary

Banner Physical Therapy, part of Select Medical, is seeking a Full-Time Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center in Tucson. CHT certification is preferred, but candidates preparing for the exam or with extensive hand therapy experience are welcome.

The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a $350/month student loan repayment plan, with a full benefits package and opportunities for professional growth through national programs and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)-accredited school
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Preferred: at least two years of experience in hand therapy and/or splinting

Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
• High Standard of Care: Stay current with occupational therapy research and apply evidence-based practice.
• Personalized Treatment: Evaluate patients, create a plan of care, and deliver treatment and discharge.
• Relationship-Building: Maintain positive interactions with centers and their staff to expand client relations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
• CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
• Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
