Banner Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), or a Physical/Occupational Therapist, to treat upper extremity disorders with expertise in custom splinting. The role collaborates with the regional hand therapy coordinator and covers multiple centers on Phoenix’s West Side.

It offers flexible PRN scheduling and opportunities for CEU growth. The ideal candidate has CHT certification or equivalent licensure, state licensure, and a background in hand therapy and splinting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy.
• Hold specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy.
• National registration and state licensure or registration required.
• Experience in applying custom splinting for pre- and post-op orthopedics.
• CPR certification is required.
• Valid state driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, treat, re-evaluate, discharge, and communicate high-quality hand therapy services.
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs.
• Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients and expand relations.
• Stay current with occupational therapy research and apply evidence-based practice.

Location: West Side Float

Schedule: PRN/Weekdays/Flexible Schedule

Compensation: Hourly, Starting at $55.00/Hr., commensurate with experience

Banner Physical Therapy is seeking a PRN Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist, to treat various upper extremity disorders ranging from tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and more. We are seeking a skilled hand therapist experienced in custom splinting. The Certified Hand Therapist will collaborate with our regional hand therapy coordinator to ensure you have the necessary resources for success.

This position will provide coverage across multiple centers on Phoenix’s West Side. This PRN role offers a flexible schedule to fit your availability.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
• Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
