Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, create plans of care, fabricate custom orthoses, and educate patients on their splints.

You will supervise OT assistants and students, collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians, and manage postoperative and injury rehabilitation, including scar management and return-to-work strategies.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition and establish plan of care.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Post-surgical and injury rehabilitation including scar management, edema control, and return-to-work rehab.
