Norman Regional Health System in Shawnee, Oklahoma is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, design recovery plans, and fabricate custom orthoses as needed.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab; a Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy is preferred. Collaboration with surgeons and therapists is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab/outpatient therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plan of care.
• Provide hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder rehab; custom splinting.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and case discussions.
