Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or a therapist with substantial hand therapy experience for outpatient rehab in Oklahoma. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized recovery plans, and fabricate custom splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions.

Collaborating with hand surgeons and a multidisciplinary team, you will educate patients, document care, and contribute to program development while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or OTD preferred.
• Graduate of accredited OT program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab/outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license; CHT credential; CPR/BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop plans of care for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder conditions.
• Provide orthosis design, fabrication, fitting, and education on wear and care.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions and document OT services.
• Direct and supervise OT assistants, students, and support personnel.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, and other therapists.
