Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder in an outpatient setting. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and supervise OT staff while fabricating custom orthoses as needed.

Responsibilities include documenting therapy, educating patients, and collaborating with hand surgeons and other clinicians to optimize outcomes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred; OT background acceptable.
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients and establish plan of care for upper-extremity rehab.
• Provide hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder therapy and custom splinting.
• Document Occupational Therapy services and outcomes.
• Directs and supervises OT assistants, students, and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon and postoperative cases.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
