Job summary

US Foods is seeking a forklift operator to handle material movement, loading and stocking across multiple warehouse areas. You will operate a forklift in a multi-temperature environment, perform safety checks, and ensure pallets are secure during transfers.

The role offers a day shift with overtime opportunities; safety training and OSHA-compliant forklift certification are required to start.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing ability; simple math skills for calculations.
• OSHA forklift certification required.
• Understanding Voxware commands and simple inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Transports pallet loads from dock to designated warehouse slots using powered industrial equipment.
• Replenishes pick slots from reserve slots to maintain inventory for night shift selection.
• Performs safety checks on battery, brakes, lift controls and fire extinguisher.
• Records product, equipment and warehouse damage.
• Maintains clean aisles and follows safety policies at all times.
