Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Forklift Operator to manage pallet movements and stock placement across multi-temperature environments. The role involves operating powered industrial trucks, loading and unloading at the dock, and ensuring pallets are secure before picking.

Shift coverage includes night and day rotations with a 6pm start when applicable. Starting pay is $20.16 per hour, with benefits and overtime as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write legibly and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must understand Voxware commands.
• OSHA forklift certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports pallet loads of product from dock to correct warehouse slot using powered equipment.
• Replenishes pick slots with product from reserve slots to maintain inventory.
• Performs daily safety checks on equipment and appliances.
• Records all product, equipment and warehouse damage.
• Maintains clean aisles and workspace to prevent hazards.
• Follows all safety policies at all times.
