Rose City Nursing and Rehab | Lancaster, PA

Rose City Nursing and Rehab is seeking an experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our Dietary Department at our skilled nursing facility in Lancaster, PA.

The Certified Dietary Manager is responsible for directing, evaluating, and monitoring dietary department staff, including scheduling, hiring, performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee evaluations.

Schedule

• Full-Time

• On-Site – NOT Remote

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Dietary Department

• Manage food service employees, including scheduling, hiring, coaching, and performance management

• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and make only authorized food substitutions

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes and special diet orders

• Review resident care plans as necessary to ensure dietary needs are being met

• Provide nutrition counseling with assistance from a Registered Dietitian

• Monitor food quality, sanitation, safety, and meal service standards

• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to support quality resident care

• Conduct employee performance evaluations and address performance concerns as needed

Qualifications

• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

• Prior dietary management or supervisory experience preferred
