North County Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our Dietary Department! Our CDM will play a crucial role in planning, developing, and directing the daily operation of the dietary department, ensuring residents satisfaction and safety as well as adherence to company policy and procedures as well as maintaining compliance with state regulations.
Responsible for maintaining food service standards, policies and procedures, dietary staff hours, scheduling, equipment maintenance, cost control, and resident safety while providing the highest available quality of food service for our residents. Ensure their department is maintaining the cleanliness of all areas, safe functioning equipment, as well as sanitation requirements.
Job Type: Fulltime
Shift Availability: 8A-4P, Monday-Friday

Previous management experience in a kitchen setting
Demonstrates leadership and managerial ability while promoting open door policy.

Has a desire to work with the geriatric resident and their current and prospective needs
Successful completion of a state-approved food safety manager course is required within the first year. Tuition help is provided
Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred, but not required
