Fundamental is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the Dietary Department across a healthcare facility. You will oversee planning, scheduling, and staff development to ensure high-quality patient meals and compliance with regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes supervision, cost-control training, and coordination with other departments. Strong mentorship and ongoing education for staff are required to maintain exceptional dietary services.

Formación

• Must be a Certified Dietary Manager.
• Two+ years of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical facility.
• Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
• Must maintain current licensure as required by law.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards.
• Schedule department hours, personnel and work assignments to maintain quality patient care.
• Develop and participate in on-the-job training and orientation for department personnel.
• Schedule and conduct monthly in-service for department personnel.
• Hold routine departmental meetings and provide education to other departments regarding dietary services.

The Certified Dietary Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Salary Range

USD $52,000.00 - USD $62,400.00 /Yr.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Schedule department working hours, personnel, work assignments, etc., to maintain quality patient care.
• Develop and participate in programs designed for on-the-job training and orientation classes for newly assigned department personnel.
• Schedule and/or conduct a monthly in-service for department personnel.
• Hold routine departmental meetings.
• Provide education to other departments in the facility regarding dietary services.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be a Certified Dietary Manager, long term care experience preferred
• Minimum of two+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility
• Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
• Must maintain current licensure as required by law
• Any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
• Reliable transportation required
